Copyright Summit in D.C.
By Richard Amada on Apr 30, 2009 | In General
Washington, D.C., will be playing host to what's billed as a World Copyright Summit organized by the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers. The event is scheduled to take place June 9 and 10, 2009 (not counting the June 8 opening cocktail party?and who wouldn't want to count that?)
The summit web site states that the two-day program features the following tracks:
1. New Visions for Creative Industries
2. Challenges for Creators and Rights-Owners in the Digital Era
3. Weather Forecast on Copyright Climate
4. Valuing the Creative Eco-System
Registration costs are between about $800 and $1200.
